From Figma to live in 48 hours — a real AXI Studio sprint

A behind-the-scenes look at how we took a client's Figma mockup and shipped a fully functional website in just two days.

Last month, a startup founder reached out on a Monday morning with an urgent request: they had a demo day on Wednesday and needed their landing page live by Tuesday night. They had a Figma design ready but no developer to build it. Challenge accepted.

Setup and Architecture

Hour 1-4: We reviewed the Figma file, identified all components, and set up the Next.js project with Tailwind CSS. The design was clean with a clear component hierarchy — hero, features grid, testimonials, pricing, and footer. We mapped out the component structure before writing a single line of code.

Hour 5-12: Core development. We built all major sections, focusing on pixel-perfect implementation of the design. We used Claude Code to accelerate repetitive tasks like converting Figma's design tokens to Tailwind classes and generating responsive variants.

Polish and Launch

Hour 13-20: Responsive design, micro-interactions, and polish. We added smooth scroll animations, hover states, and made sure everything looked great from mobile to ultra-wide screens. This is where the attention to detail matters — the small animations and transitions that make a site feel premium.

Hour 21-24: Content integration, SEO setup, and deployment to Vercel. We configured Open Graph meta tags, added analytics, and ran Lighthouse audits to ensure performance scores above 95.

The site launched on Tuesday at 4pm — well ahead of the Wednesday demo. The founder's investors commented on the quality of the site, and the startup closed their seed round the following week. Speed doesn't have to mean compromise.
